The Night Receptionist ensures smooth Front Office operations during night hours, providing a secure, welcoming, and efficient service for guests arriving, departing, or requiring assistance after hours.

Job Summary:

The Night Receptionist is responsible for overseeing the Front Office during night shifts, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing guest requests, monitoring hotel security, and ensuring all overnight operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during night hours, providing fast and courteous service.
• Perform check-in, check-out, and room assignment processes accurately using hotel management software.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally, resolving issues or escalating when necessary.
• Monitor the safety and security of the hotel during night hours, including entrances, exits, and public areas.
• Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, departures, and overnight activities.
• Assist with cash handling, night audit procedures, and preparation of daily reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and cleanliness for arriving guests.
• Respond to emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or guest security issues, following hotel protocols.
• Ensure smooth communication between night and day Front Office teams for seamless operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and implement GDPR policies for guest data protection.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, hotel policies, and procedures during night operations.
• Keep the Front Office area organized, clean, and professional at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management that are related to Front Office operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma from a Hotel School or equivalent in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Previous experience in a Front Office or reception role, ideally with night shift experience.
• Excellent command of Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive under pressure.
• Knowledge of hotel management software and basic computer literacy.
• Pleasant, professional, and guest-oriented personality.
