Employment’s title: Operation & Management Support Officer

Location: Famagusta District (Konnos Area), Cyprus

Salary: €1,800 Gross per month

Role Overview

Periyiali Konnos Villas Beach Resort is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Operations & Management Support Officer to oversee the daily "heartbeat" of our resort. This is a hands-on supervisory role: you will be responsible for staff productivity, villa inspections, and ensuring all operational systems run perfectly. You will act as the bridge between the staff and Management, ensuring everyone stays on task and reporting all activities directly to the directors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Staff Supervision & Management

• Create and manage weekly work schedules for all staff members to ensure full coverage.
• Provide active, high-level supervision throughout the day to ensure staff are working efficiently and following directives.
• Monitor staff attendance and performance, ensuring company policy is strictly adhered to.
• Maintain order and productivity among the team, reporting performance directly to Management.

2. Operational Inspections & Quality Control

• Physically inspect villas to ensure house cleaning and maintenance standards are met.
• Manage the departure process, ensuring rooms are checked and ready for new arrivals.
• Patrol the hotel premises (interior and exterior) to maintain high standards of appearance and security.

3. Safety, Security & Systems Management

• Assume full responsibility for the Fire Alarm System, evacuation plans, and Health & Safety protocols.
• Serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring all sensitive guest and company data is handled securely.

4. Reporting & Directives

• Provide regular, detailed reporting to senior management on staff performance and operational issues.
• Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned by the Employer.

Requirements

• Education: University Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Hotel Industry).
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or operational role.
• Languages: Fluent in Greek and English (essential for staff supervision and reporting).
• PC Skills: Advanced PC literacy is mandatory (MS Office and resort software).
• Traits: Strong leadership, "hands-on" attitude, professional appearance, and high level of dedication.
• Availability: 6-day work week (51 hours) with full availability in July and August.
