Job Overview
The Pastry Cook B supports the Pastry Cook A and Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of high-quality desserts and baked goods.
He/she ensures consistent standards of quality, presentation and food safety while assisting in the smooth daily operation of the Pastry Section. The role includes partial responsibility for an assigned station and guidance of junior team members when required.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
· Prepare and produce a variety of pastries and desserts according to established recipes and Resort standards.
· Assist Pastry Cook A in the daily organisation and operation of the pastry section.
· Take responsibility for assigned production tasks and ensure quality control.
· Support daily mise-en-place and ensure timely replenishment during service.
· Assist in supervising Pastry Cook C and junior team members when required.
· Ensure proper storage of ingredients and deliveries.
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry station at all times.
· Follow all food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
· Report any deficiencies or equipment issues to the Chef.
· Contribute to maintaining high presentation standards across all outlets.
· Be flexible to carry out additional duties as required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Very good command of Greek and English (spoken and written)
- Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role will be considered an advantage
- Culinary or Pastry School diploma will be considered an advantage
- EU passport holder is essential
