The Role
The platform administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, support, and administration of the company's SaaS platform. The role supports customer onboarding activities, manages platform configurations and user access, assists with data management and reporting requirements, monitors platform health, and provides first line support to users. The position works closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure reliable and effective customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Monitor platform health and respond to alerts, incidents, and operational issues.
Provide day-to-day support to platform users, investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Manage user accounts, access provisioning, role assignments, and permission updates.
Upload, validate, and maintain customer data within the platform.
Configure and update customer environments based on business and operational requirements.
Support customer onboarding activities and platform setup.
Perform data exports and prepare datasets for Business Intelligence and reporting purposes.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across customer environments.
Participate in testing, release validation, and deployment activities.
Maintain operational procedures, documentation, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and BI teams to support platform operations.
Support compliance with operational, security, and data governance standards.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, user experience, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in platform administration, application support, SaaS operations, or a similar role.
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting a SaaS platform or business application.
- Familiarity with user access management, compliance and security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with data exports, reporting, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with ticketing and incident management systems.
- Experience with software testing and release validation activities.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and web-based applications.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
