Architectural / Interior Design Background
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with a background in Architecture or Interior Design to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of hospitality projects.
Our company specializes in providing comprehensive turnkey solutions for hotels and hospitality developments, including furniture, lighting, interior furnishings, and related fit-out solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning and coordination through procurement, delivery, installation, and final handover, ensuring that all aspects are executed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and design excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and coordinate hospitality projects from inception through to successful completion.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
* Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, developers, hotel operators, suppliers, and contractors.
* Review and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.
* Oversee the procurement, production, logistics, delivery, and installation of furniture, lighting, and interior furnishings.
* Coordinate on-site activities and ensure seamless execution across all project phases.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, contractual requirements and project deadlines.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
* Oversee project completion, quality inspections and final handover.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in project management, ideally within the hospitality, interior fit-out, or turnkey project sector.
* Strong technical understanding of architectural drawings, interior materials, furniture, lighting and installation processes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, suppliers and stakeholders effectively.
* Excellent planning, organizational, use of project management tools and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project budgets and deadlines.
* High attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and successful project delivery.
* Proactive, solution-oriented approach and ability to work independently.
**Previous experience in hotel developments, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), and hospitality fit-out projects will be considered a significant advantage.
