Resort Reservations Manager
Job Description
Our client, a highly successful and well-established 5 star resort, is seeking an experienced Resort Reservations Manager to join its team and oversee the smooth operation of the reservations department.
The Reservations Manager is accountable for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the reservations team, ensuring all bookings are accurately captured and processed, and driving revenue growth through booking optimisation, upselling, and cross-selling activities. This position includes leading a team and performing audits to maintain high departmental standards.
The Reservations Manager also handles scheduling, training plans, and the upkeep of tee and room availability, while addressing and resolving escalated matters. In addition, they maintain active communication with guests, contracted partners, and resort operations teams to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding level of guest service.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support the reservations team, ensuring established procedures are adhered to and high standards of customer service
- Create, manage, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for departmental operating days/ times
- Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates, address challenges, and provide feedback on performance and departmental goals
- Prepare training & development plans & conduct the training of reservation team members, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of all resort reservation systems, facilities and procedures relating to the scope of their work
- Receives contract rates and inputs the data in relevant PMS systems (rates, allotments, expiry date, GDS codes, Debtor numbers etc.)
- Enters all reservations for Golf, Sports, Hotel, Rentals, Practice Facilities and review reservation entries daily to ensure booking are entered correctly
- Daily check of blocks in the system and provide a weekly report of upcoming allotment blocks (for the next 3 months) with suggested actions
- Attends to enquiries, assists with complaints and requests regarding reservations
- Maintains a correct filing system and archive for all correspondence
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience at a similar managerial position
- Proficiency in reservations systems and Microsoft tools
- Team leadership and training skills
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Other languages would be considered as an advantage
- Pleasant personality
- Time management and organizational skills
- EU Citizen or EU Work Permit Holder
