We are looking for a customer-focused Retail Team Leader who will act as a key link between the store’s team and the Supervisor. The role focuses on driving sales performance, supporting team effectiveness, and ensuring an excellent customer service experience. At the same time, you will also help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, providing guidance to the team and stepping in to take on additional responsibilities in the Supervisor’s absence.
Responsibilities:
- Step in as the acting store manager during their absence and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support the team in meeting customer needs across all communication channels.
- Drive store sales by motivating the team and contributing to achieving sales targets.
- Ensure the store operates efficiently and in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve store issues and customer complaints in coordination with relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Oversee cash handling, reconcile receipts, and assist with deposit preparation.
- Support the training, development, and coaching of store staff.
- Monitor and manage inventory of equipment, supplies, and promotional materials.
- Promote punctuality and adherence to working hours among staff.
- Ensure staff uphold professional appearance, proper uniforms, and positive behavior.
- Proactively handle challenges and operational issues as they arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further studies are a plus
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or team leadership is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Results-driven professional with a proven ability to achieve sales and service targets, demonstrating energy, enthusiasm, and motivation to grow in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong sales expertise, with the ability to coach, support, motivate, and empower team members to succeed and achieve their goals.
- Knowledge of cash handling, basic financial procedures, and inventory management.
- Demonstrates flexibility in working hours and availability to support the operational requirements of the store.
- Comfortable using computers and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar systems)
- Fluency in Greek is required, with proficiency in English (spoken and written)
