The Role

• Performs audit engagements of both local and international clients
• Understands client’s business
• Identifies risk areas and plans the audit work accordingly
• Liaise with the client to gather audit evidence and information
• Plans, executes and successfully completes the audits in accordance with IFRSs and IASs
• Communicate any inefficiencies and problems identified during the audit to the engagement partner
• Preparation of financial statements of the clients in accordance with IFRS
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of clients’ tax returns
• Liaise with other departments of the firm to provide client support and advice, as required
• Work closely with the Partners and Audit Managers to ensure clients receive the best possible service
• Reporting to the Partners/ Audit Managers on results, findings, and client issues
• Providing on the job training and guidance to the team members

 

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or any other related field
• ACCA/ACA qualified or partly qualified
• At least 1 year practical auditing experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of IFRS’s and ISA’s
• Computer literacy
• Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English language
• Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

 

ACCA & ACA training program which includes
