As our Audit Department continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a motivated and commercially minded Semi-Senior Auditor to take on greater responsibility and build a rewarding career within our team.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Auditor or Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a range of audit engagements for local and international clients from planning through to completion. You will apply your developing technical knowledge of ISAs and IFRS, engage directly with clients, and contribute to the quality and efficiency of our audit practice — all within a supportive environment designed to accelerate your path to full qualification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, execute and complete statutory audit engagements for local and international clients in accordance with ISAs, with increasing autonomy.
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and documentation to the required professional standard.
- Develop a sound understanding of each client's business, identify risk areas, and plan audit work accordingly.
- Liaise directly with clients during fieldwork to gather audit evidence, resolve queries, and maintain professional relationships.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist with the preparation of tax computations and corporate/personal tax returns.
- Communicate audit findings, observations, and any issues identified to the Senior Auditor or Audit Manager.
- Assist other departments (accounting, payroll) with tax and technical matters as required.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management in line with business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- ACCA or ACA — qualified or actively pursuing qualification.
- More than 1 year of practical audit experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word.
- Fluent in both Greek and English (written and spoken).
Advantageous
- Experience with Caseware / Caseview audit software.
- Holders of LCCI Higher, CAT, AAT or equivalent accounting qualifications.
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm.
- Good understanding of Cyprus tax legislation.

WORKING HOURS
September – June
- Monday – Thursday: Flexible start between 07:30–09:00 | 8.5-hour workday
- Friday: Flexible start between 07:30–09:00 | 6-hour workday (Friday afternoon off)
July – August (4-day working weeks)
- Monday – Thursday: Flexible start between 07:30–09:00 | 9-hour workday
