CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding High Technology company which develops custom data solutions, including data integration and structuring services to clients around the world, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design and building scalable backend systems using Python, as well as develop high-performance, intuitive frontends using React. Our client is seeking applicants who possess strong experience in Python & React, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. You will need to hold experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance systems, with the ability to reason with noisy, incomplete, or probabilistic data. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, medical insurance, flexible working hours, and hybrid working options.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design and build scalable backend systems using Python.
• Develop high-performance, intuitive frontends using React.
• Architect and maintain APIs and services that handle large-scale data processing.
• Work with massive datasets (billions of events) and optimize for performance and accuracy.
• Design pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and querying of complex data.
• Implement advanced filtering, aggregation, and profiling capabilities.
• Apply data science concepts to improve targeting, profiling, and insights.
• Work closely with data scientists to productionize models and algorithms.
• Optimize systems for speed, efficiency, and reliability at scale.
• Work with distributed systems, columnar databases, and caching strategies.
• Break down ambiguous, complex problems into actionable solutions.
• Take full ownership of features from design to deployment. 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Strong experience in Python (data processing, backend systems, APIs).
• Strong experience in React (modern frontend development).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-performance systems.
• Strong grasp of data science fundamentals (statistics, probability, data modelling).
• Experience working with analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse, BigQuery, etc.).
• Ability to reason with noisy, incomplete, or probabilistic data.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability.
• High ownership and accountability.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a bias for action.
