EMA Mechanical Contractors is looking for a motivated and hands-on Site Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience to support the successful execution of mechanical installations on major construction projects. If you enjoy being on site, coordinating teams, solving practical engineering challenges and seeing projects progress from drawings to completed installations, this could be the right opportunity for you. We are looking for someone who wants to develop strong site-management and technical coordination skills while working alongside an experienced engineering and project-management team.
What You’ll Be Doing Working closely with the company owner and our engineering and technical teams, you will:
Supervise and coordinate the daily execution of mechanical installation works on construction sites.
Monitor the installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection and other mechanical systems.
Ensure that site works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules and quality standards.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical and other construction disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Organise and monitor the activities of technicians, subcontractors and installation teams.
Identify and resolve technical and practical challenges arising during construction.
Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation to support accurate site implementation.
Monitor work progress, report on site activities and assist with planning upcoming works.
Coordinate material requirements, deliveries and equipment availability with procurement and project teams.
Participate in site meetings, inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote safe working practices.
Support the Project Manager in maintaining project quality, timelines and efficient resource utilisation.
Gradually take on greater responsibility for managing site activities and coordinating mechanical works independently.
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Ideally 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical contracting, construction or MEP site engineering
Registration with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK)
Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire protection installations
Very good command of Greek and English
Good digital skills, including MS Office
Valid driving licence

Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

Willingness to learn, take initiative and develop leadership skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team
