We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Linux systems, automation, and modern cloud-native and hybrid technologies. This role requires a proactive approach to reliability, observability, and infrastructure management to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and integration processes.
• Optimize system monitoring, alerting  and observability tools to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.
• Maintain and enhance GitOps workflows for improved infrastructure management.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues related to Linux, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and networking.
• Implement security best practices to our infrastructure, ensuring compliance and data protection.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and security teams to enhance infrastructure design.
• Drive system performance optimization and cost efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Linux knowledge (administration, performance tuning, security).
• Strong Bash scripting for automation and system management.
• Knowledge of at least one dynamic programming language (such as Python and Ruby) for automation and system orchestration.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise, including cluster management and troubleshooting.
• Cloud environment proficiency, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.).
• CI/CD pipeline creation and management, using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab / Bitbucket CI/CD.
• Git & GitOps methodologies for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitoring, alerting and observability experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Skills Considered as Plus:

• Configuration management automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Saltstack).
• PowerShell scripting for cross-platform automation.
• Databases & data store knowledge, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
• Networking fundamentals including load balancing and DNS management.
• Incident management and post-mortem analysis experience.
• Security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
