Smart Office Support Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a smart, technically curious, and customer-focused Smart Office Support Engineer to help maintain and support our modern workplace technologies. This role combines traditional IT support with smart office systems, including access control, video conferencing, and security technologies.
You do not need a long list of certifications or years of experience. We value intelligence, problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, and excellent customer service skills above all else.
Responsibilities:
End-User IT Support
· Provision, configure, and deploy laptops and workstations for employees.
· Support users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
· Install and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates.
· Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and productivity tools.
· Provide onsite and remote support to employees.
Smart Office Systems
· Support and troubleshoot CCTV, Face Recognition and Access Control systems, Video Conferencing solutions
· Routine morning systems checkup
· Coordinate with vendors, service providers, our own expert team when necessary.
Documentation
· Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities
Required Skills & Qualities
· Genuine interest in technology and learning new systems.
· Good communication skills and professional customer service attitude.
· Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
· English proficiency, Russian- and Greek- abilities would be nice
· Driving license and own car for extra mobility when needed
Technical Requirements
Experience with some of the following is desirable:
· Microsoft Windows administration.
· Active Directory user management.
· Laptop and desktop hardware support.
· Basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
· Video conferencing platforms and meeting room systems.
· Access control, Face ID, or CCTV systems.
· Mobile device support.
Nice to Have
· Ability to diagnose issues methodically rather than relying solely on documentation.
· Experience supporting users in a corporate environment.
· Exposure to enterprise IT systems.
· Experience with ticketing systems.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
