Prevention at Sea is an LR ISO 9001 & 27001 & 22301 multi-awarded marine risk assessment company that offers maritime services for quality assurance as well as maritime software products with the aim to ensure fleet management optimization and data-driven decision making via paperless ship logs/records and big data analytics.
Job Outline
We are currently seeking to recruit a results-driven Software Quality Assurance/Tester to be part of a dynamic and growing QA team, responsible for designing and running tests on software usability and functionality. The Software Tester will conduct tests, analyse the results, and report observations to the development and design team.
The successful candidate should have an understanding of software and test design, the capability to run thorough tests, and the ability to analyse the results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design, create and implement test plans for products and services.
· Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
· Executing tests and implementing automated tests on software functionality and usability.
· Analysing test results and possible impact on product and services.
· Preparing reports related to the software testing carried out.
· Attention to detail during the test plan creation and result reporting.
· Responsible for extending and maintaining a test infrastructure using latest technology and automation systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:

· Ability to work well under pressure and assimilate information at a fast pace.
· Strong team player and collaboration skills.
· Good communication and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
Nice to Have:
· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
· A knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
· Good knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
