Position Summary
Execute all day-to-day supply chain operations and logistics activities, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, coordination of shipments, and proper documentation in accordance with defined procedures and instructions.
The role provides operational support to the Supply Chain Manager – Operations and ensures efficient execution, data accuracy, and process compliance across the Group.
Key Position Accountabilities

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
•    Execute daily supply chain operations including: 
•    Purchase order processing 
•    Order follow-up and coordination 
•    System updates 
•    Coordinate all logistics activities including: 
•    Shipment bookings 
•    Freight coordination 
•    Delivery tracking 
•    Prepare and manage all required documentation including shipping and operational records 
•    Ensure accurate and timely data entry in ERP systems 
•    Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit purposes 
•    Support stock control processes by updating inventory movements and highlighting discrepancies 
•    Assist the Supply Chain Manager in operational follow-ups and reporting 
•    Communicate with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams for coordination purposes 
•    Monitor shipment progress and escalate delays or issues 
•    Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, policies and instructions 
•    Support continuous improvement by identifying operational issues 
•    Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Manager – Operations

Education, Experience, Training and Special Skills
•    Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain and/or Logistics 
•    1–3 years experience in logistics or supply chain operations
•    Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office, preferably Microsoft Dynamics & D365 Business will be a plus.
