Job Description
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Support Associate to join the Retail & Office Hardware Management (ROHM) team for one of our major clients located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
This role is ideal for hands-on IT support professionals with a strong interest in hardware, retail systems, and on-site technical support across stores and offices. As a Support Associate (ROHM), you will be responsible for the installation, support, and maintenance of physical IT equipment used in client’s stores and offices. You will work closely with other support teams to ensure that hardware-related issues are resolved efficiently and that store operations remain uninterrupted.
Responsibilities:
· Install, replace, and support retail hardware such as POS peripherals, printers, scanners, scales, and timecards.
· Provide on-site and remote hardware support for client’s stores and offices.
· Assist with hardware preparation and deployment for new store openings and store renovations.
· Troubleshoot hardware-related incidents and ensure timely resolution through the Helpdesk system.
· Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, replacements, and interventions.
· Coordinate with internal IT teams and approved vendors for hardware-related activities when required.
· Ensure all work is documented clearly and follows defined support processes and escalation paths.
Requirements:
· Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience).
· Experience in IT support or hardware-focused technical roles.
· Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals (understanding of retail IT equipment is a plus).
· Ability to work in store environments and perform hands-on technical tasks.
· Familiarity with ticketing or helpdesk systems.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to technical issues.
· Fluent in both English and Greek.
Working Model:
Participation in the IT Support on-call/shift rotation may be required, covering evenings or weekends based on operational needs.
