Tax Consultant Assistant
Job Description
You will support the tax department in handling client tax matters and ensuring compliance with Cyprus tax laws and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax forms (IR1, IR4, IR7, IR603, IR623).
• Support the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.
• Assist with temporary tax calculations and related payments.
• Help prepare tax clearance certificates and tax residency certificates.
• Liaise with clients to collect tax-related information and documentation.
• Support non-dom applications and related administrative procedures.
• Maintain accurate tax records and client files.
• Collaborate with audit and bookkeeping teams on tax matters.
• Stay updated with Cyprus tax legislation and procedures.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in taxation or accounting will be considered an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Cyprus tax laws and procedures.
• Familiarity with Caseware Tax Forms and Cyprus Tax Portal will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
