Job Description
The Treasurer will be responsible for incoming and outgoing bank payments, and other money-related activities. The successful candidate will be in charge for executing payments and preparing required reports, and should have a strong understanding of finance, treasury, banking and payments.
Main Responsibilities
- Checking and execution of clients’ payments by bank transfer.
- Execution of corporate payments of the Company, salary payments, etc.
- Communicating with banks and EMI.
- Opening new bank accounts for the Company.
- Preparing reports, export statements as per request.
- Setting of technical and functional tasks to improve and automate the work of the treasury.
- Supporting other payments-related activities and projects of the Group.
- Any ad-hoc tasks or reports as per management’s request.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking or any other related field is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in a Treasury and/or Accounting position with payments functionality and communication with banks/EMI/PSP/LP
- Experience in the Forex industry and understanding of financial markets is a big advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
- Knowledge of the Greek language is beneficial
- Ability to work in multitasking environment
- Attention to detail
