Job Description

Responsibilities:

This job position has the following responsibilities and duties:

·         Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements

·         Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time

·         Review VAT treatment and ensure correct VAT coding

·         Reconcile VAT accounts and resolve discrepancies

·         Maintain accurate VAT records and supporting documentation

·         Assist with VAT registrations, deregistration, and related submissions

·         Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation and requirements

·         Handle VAT-related bookkeeping and invoice processing

·         Liaise with clients and authorities on VAT matters

·         Use accounting software to manage financial transactions

·         Support accurate financial reporting and internal compliance

·         Perform other VAT-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have the following skills, education, and experience:

·         Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

·         1–2 years relevant experience

·         ACCA in progress will be considered as an advantage

·         Skilled in VAT compliance

·         Proficient with accounting software (e.g., E-soft, Odoo)

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

·         Effective team player and independent worker

·         Excellent Greek and English communication skills

·         IT literate and adaptable

·         High integrity with a positive, proactive attitude.
