Digital Tree - Videographer / Video Editor (Dual Role)

An opportunity has arisen for a Videographer / Video Editor to join our Team in Nicosia. 

Main Responsibilities

• Film videos on set or on location
• Sound recording when required
• Make technical decisions regarding appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement
• Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client
• Edit footage in post-production
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Follow production schedule in order to deliver the final product on time
• Assemble, prepare and set up equipment prior to filming, which may include tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and leads and headphones
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
• Test equipment to determine the technical quality of recording, audio and lighting apparatus prior to operation in the field

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies / Video Production / Multimedia or relevant studies
• 2 - 4 years of experience in video production (filming & editing)
• Excellent User of DSLR cameras (we use Sony and Canon)
• Outstanding time-management and planning skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere & After Effects
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Greek & English, written and oral
• Driving License
