Job Description
The IT Manager oversees the daily operation, support, maintenance, and ongoing development of the organisation’s technology infrastructure, systems, and applications. The role is responsible for ensuring dependable IT performance, assisting all departments, coordinating external technology providers and IT projects, and ensuring compliance with organisational standards and information security requirements.

Responsibilities
- Use computers and computer systems, including both hardware and software, to perform programming, develop software, configure functions, enter data, or process information
- Coordinate projects and activities associated with MIS
- Monitor, oversee, and ensure the acquisition and maintenance of property-based systems
- Review information, recognise existing and potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions
- Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment
- Examine equipment or the surrounding environment and ensure that the necessary maintenance is carried out
- Ensure that computer and network operations at the property are monitored, scheduled backup and recovery procedures are completed, and administrative functions relating to hardware, operating systems, and application systems are performed and maintained consistently
- Manage IR activities to ensure that the property’s infrastructure and application systems remain operational at all times
- Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with the client’s requirements and the brand-specific IR environment
- Prepare system communications for property users to introduce new applications, share user guidance, notify users of system issues, and provide employees with progress or status updates
- Provide consultation regarding specific application issues and hardware or software problems
- Give feedback on the functional performance of applications and the overall performance of systems
IT Operations and Project Support
Apply relevant information and individual judgement to assess whether events or processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, or standards
- Monitor processes and assess information in accordance with SOP and LSOP requirements
- Ensure adherence to company standards and information security requirements
- Direct the maintenance of the property’s inventory of equipment and installed software applications, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations
General Responsibilities
Attend any meetings or training sessions required by management.
- Be familiar with the property’s facilities, services, and available attractions.
- Follow the company’s policies and procedures relating to quality, environmental matters, and food safety.
- Maintain the flexibility required to respond to critical IT incidents and business continuity events outside normal working hours when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressive experience in IT, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory or managerial position
- Excellent understanding of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware and software systems.
- Practical experience in computer networking, network administration, and network installation.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead change and introduce continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, management, and team-building abilities.
