Job Description

We are seeking a curious, organized and technology-oriented university student or recent graduate to join our team as an AI & Business Development Assistant. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applied artificial intelligence and commercial operations within a professional corporate environment, working on live processes rather than exercises.

The successful candidate will support the firm's business function, design and build AI-driven workflows for use across the office, and assist the firm run processes more effectively.   This role is ideal for students and recent graduates who have begun exploring AI tools independently and wish to see what they build applied to real work.

Highworth (Cyprus) Limited is a corporate services and tax advisory firm based in Nicosia, advising international founders, investors and corporate groups on company formation, tax structuring, redomiciliation and ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research companies and contacts ahead of commercial approaches, and maintain the accuracy of the firm's CRM, ensuring every enquiry is attributed to its source.
  • Convert meetings and recordings into structured notes, action lists and draft follow-up correspondence.
  • Prepare business documentation, reports, presentations and client information packs from material supplied by the advisory team.
  • Produce monthly reporting on the origin of enquiries and their progression.
  • Identify processes across the firm that are still performed manually, and rebuild them using AI and workflow automation tools.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows for client document collection, deadline reminders and document assembly from templates.
  • Improve how the firm searches and retrieves the documents it already holds.
  • Research emerging AI tools and prepare practical recommendations on their application to the firm's work.
  • Document each workflow built, so that it remains usable and maintainable by others.

Requirements

  • Current university student or recent graduate in marketing, digital marketing, advertising and marketing communications, communication and internet studies, business administration with a marketing specialisation, or a related field. We are open as to discipline.
  • Demonstrable practical experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot. This may take the form of a certificate or short course, a university module or project, or work you have set up and used independently. We are interested in what you have done with these tools rather than in which route you took.
  • Evidence of having moved beyond conversational use: an assistant, prompt or process you configured for a defined task, tested, and improved where it failed.
  • Some exposure to workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate, Make, Zapier or n8n, or a clear willingness to learn them.
  • Curiosity as to how processes work, and the confidence to ask a colleague to explain their own.
  • Clear written English for internal notes and first drafts. All client-facing output is reviewed by the firm.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook.
  • Reliability, and the disposition to finish what is started.

Not a Requirement

  • Previous professional experience.
  • Programming ability.
  • Any prior knowledge of tax, company law or financial services.

Considered an Advantage

  • A background or interest in media, video, design or content creation. A meaningful part of this work concerns how the firm presents itself.
  • Any certification in AI, digital productivity or data tools. Free certifications are regarded equally.
  • Excellent command in English and good knowledge of Greek language.  The firm's working language is English and its client base is international.

 Benefits

  • Salary (entry-level)
  • Friendly and positive working environment.
  • Full-time position based on a five-day working week, with an early finish on Fridays
  • 21 days of annual leave
  • Attractive benefits package.
