Role OverviewWe are seeking to recruit an Advocate to join the Litigation &amp; Dispute Resolution Department to work as part of a team of lawyers handling matters in intra-related disciplines.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations and settlement negotiations</li><li>Draft and review legal pleadings, witness statements, applications and other litigation documents</li><li>Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and legal arguments</li><li>Advise clients on dispute avoidance strategies and risk management</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders (experts, counsel, regulators) to deliver favorable outcomes</li><li>Manage document discovery processes and evidence collection</li><li>Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and testimonies</li><li>Conduct legal research on Cyprus and EU litigation and procedural law questions</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications / Experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>Academic qualifications: Law degree (holding any further qualification such as the LPC will be considered an advantage).</li><li>Professional qualification: Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.</li><li>Experience: At least 2 years post-qualification litigation experience.&nbsp;</li></ul>Skills &amp; Attributes:&nbsp;<ul><li>Strong advocacy and analytical skills</li><li>Able to handle multiple cases with meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication in English and Greek, both written and spoken</li><li>Proactive, client-service mindset and willingness to learn &nbsp;</li></ul>Remuneration:&nbsp;<ul><li>A competitive salary that fits your knowledge and experience.</li><li>Access to training for professional growth.</li><li>Long-term career prospects. &nbsp;</li></ul>How to Apply&nbsp;Please submit your CV along with a cover letter to <a href="mailto:vacancies@ademetrioulaw.com">vacancies@ademetrioulaw.com</a> with the subject line “Advocate – Litigation” Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.&nbsp;All applications shall be treated in full confidence.
