Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the financial operations and financial management of the clinic.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
- Oversee accounting activities, payments, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and management accounts.
- Work closely with the clinic’s external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors on all financial, accounting, tax, VAT, and statutory matters.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting, VAT, and tax requirements.
- Monitor and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiency, profitability improvement, and sustainable financial growth.
- Provide financial guidance and support for the clinic’s strategic planning and business development.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a senior or managerial position.
- Previous experience in the medical, healthcare, or clinical sector will be considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, VAT, and Cyprus tax legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- ACCA/ACA/CPA qualification or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
