KARMA is a growing Group operating in the property development sector, delivering projects across multiple sites at Famagusta Region.
Due to our expansion as a Group we have opened a new position of Accounting Officer in the Finance Department to join our team. The role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records in line with IFRS and Group policies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accounting records in accordance with IFRS.
Prepare and post journal entries and manage day-to-day bookkeeping.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Process invoices, expenses, accruals, provisions, and supplier reconciliations.
Perform ageing analysis and follow up on overdue balances.
Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.
Process payments and manage intercompany transactions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requirements.
Assist with ERP system transition and ad hoc finance tasks.
Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Good understanding of IFRS.
Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Knowledge of SAGE or ERP systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
