Back Office/Operations Officer (Limassol, Cyprus)
Job Description
The Position
The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth execution of operational processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, and will be responsible amongst other of:
- Perform day-to-day back office operational tasks
- Process client account openings, amendments, and closures
- Maintain and update client records and documentation
- Handle client deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers
- Perform reconciliations between banks, payment providers, and internal systems
- Monitor transactions and investigate discrepancies where required
- Liaise with internal departments, banks, and service providers
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper operational records and audit trails
- Support operational reporting and ongoing process improvements
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business or any other related discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar role, preferably within an investment firm or the financial services industry.
- Good understanding of operational processes within a regulated environment
- Knowledge of CySEC regulatory framework will be considered an advantage
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Multitasking individual with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and result oriented.
- Excellent command of Greek and English language, both verbal and written.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
