Job Description

We are seeking a professional and experienced Barman/Barwoman A' to support the smooth operation of our bar and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality beverage service, assist guests with cocktail and drink selections, and maintain the bar area to the highest standards. Acting as a deputy to the Head Barman when required, the role involves preparing drinks according to hotel recipes, promoting bar offerings and events, handling guest feedback professionally, and ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bar at all times. Strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a guest-focused attitude are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Replace the Head Barman in his absence
• Provide the highest standard of service to guests
• Assist guests by explaining cocktail options and beverage selections
• Prepare drinks according to hotel standard recipes
• Ensure mise-en-place is completed prior to service
• Set up the bar area in the morning and maintain cleanliness throughout the day
• Keep the bar clean, organized and well-presented during service
• Promote food, beverage offerings and hotel special events
• Report guest complaints to the Bar Supervisor or F&B Manager
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar position
• Excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cocktail ingredients
• Clear understanding of guest behavior, needs and cultural differences
• Knowledge of hotel rules and regulations
• Clean, professional appearance at all times, with name badge worn
• Strong communication skills
