Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ leading land and building developers, we are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Civil Engineer, you will oversee a range of residential and commercial developments. As part of your role, you will conduct regular site inspections, ultimately ensuring projects meet agreed specification and timeframes. Our client is seeking who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who are registered members of ETEK. You will need to possess 5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, overseeing both residential and commercial projects. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, company car, and mobile phone.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Conducting regular site inspections and assessing the work performance done by main and subcontractors.
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications and timeframes.
• Liaising with consultants, providing technical advice, and solving problem solutions on site.
• Coordination of external consultants.
• Conducting briefings with the Group Technical Manager on a regular basis; to follow-up and report on the work progress.
• Demonstrating a personal commitment and adept knowledge to health and safety regulations/contracts and the environment.
• Attending and contributing to project technical meetings.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered member of ETEK.
• 5+ years experience in residential and commercial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Good knowledge of MS Project.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, procurements, and project management principles.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient knowledge of English language (written and verbal).
