Role Overview

The Foreman is responsible for managing and coordinating labour, materials, equipment, and all necessary resources on site. In close collaboration with Project Managers, the role ensures the smooth and safe execution of works, compliance with technical requirements, and effective teamwork across the construction site.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the organization and setup of the construction site, including areas, materials, machinery, and tools.
• Monitor work progress against project schedules and timelines.
• Implement instructions, specifications, and requirements set by the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise, guide, and coordinate site workforce in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely, in accordance with relevant legislation and Company procedures.
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and good order at all times.
• Oversee the receipt and verification of materials and equipment deliveries.
• Identify and promptly report issues, delays, or risks impacting project time, cost, or design.
• Contribute to cost efficiency through effective resource management without compromising quality or safety.
• Promote professional, disciplined, and responsible behaviour within the workforce.
• Support site demobilization activities, including material organization and equipment removal upon project completion.

 

What we are looking for

• Relevant technical diploma or qualification is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage workforce, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and discipline teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Competence in conflict management and maintaining a positive site environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Flexibility and responsiveness to changing conditions and unexpected challenges.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• High level of professionalism and alignment with Company values.
