Junior Corporate Lawyer (9206)
Job Description
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Law Firm offering legal services with a focus on the fintech industry, corporate law, and compliance, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Junior Corporate Lawyer, you will handle a range of legal duties, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of corporate, commercial, and contractual agreements, as well as liaising with clients, banks, payment service providers, and other third parties in relation to corporate and compliance matters. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess approximately 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for a Law Firm, Corporate Service Provider, or Fintech company, and be fluent in both Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience, and working hours from are from 09:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Management and daily administration of a portfolio of companies.
- Drafting and reviewing of corporate documents.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of corporate, commercial, and contractual agreements (NDAs, terms and conditions, service agreements, software licensing agreements, employment agreements, SaaS and BaaS).
- Drafting legal opinions and legal memos on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.
- Liaising with clients, banks, payment service providers, and other third parties in relation to corporate and compliance matters.
- Preparation of all necessary documents for the formation of a new company.
- Registration of companies at the Registrar of companies, with the completion of various forms.
- Operation of gov.cy portal and the e-filing system of the Registrar of Companies.
- Assisting with compliance matters and the implementation of KYC procedures and policies.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Holder of University Degree in Law.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Ideally 3 years of professional experience in a law firm, corporate service provider, or fintech company.
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language.
- Accurate, reliable, creative, well organised, and proactive.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to manage matters independently and work collaboratively within a team.
