Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine willingness to work, learn, and grow within the company. This is a long‑term position. We are looking for individuals who want to build a stable career with us; short‑term placements are not considered.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across systems and networks
• Assist in incident response, investigation, and documentation
• Perform vulnerability scanning and support remediation activities
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls
• Assist in user security awareness and policy enforcement
• Participate in weekly rotating support duties (additional monthly compensation)
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and follow internal procedures

 

Working Conditions & Compensation

• Working hours: 08:00–17:00 (including lunch break)
• Paid overtime
• Net salary range: €1200–€1700, depending on skills and experience
• Annual performance‑based salary increases
• Annual performance‑based bonus

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts
• Ability to follow procedures and document work clearly
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Previous experience or certifications in cyber security are considered an advantage
• Fluency in Greek & English

• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel)
• EDR/XDR Platforms (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Gravity Zone)
• Vulnerability Scanning & Management tools (Nessus)
• Network Monitoring & Traffic Analysis
• Identity & Access Security (Azure AD / Entra ID)
• Email Security & Anti‑Phishing (Microsoft Defender for Office 365,Proofpoint,Gravity Zone)
• Firewall & Perimeter Security (Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto)
