Legal Assistant & Compliance Coordinator

A well-established ship-owning and investment management company is seeking to recruit a Legal Assistant & Compliance Coordinator to support its legal, corporate, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate KYC, due diligence, and compliance-related documentation across multiple jurisdictions
• Liaise with banks, corporate service providers, regulators, and external partners
• Manage corporate secretarial matters, including maintaining corporate records, preparing resolutions, minutes and filings
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for international transactions and internal corporate projects
• Support corporate and legal matters related to vessel-owning structures and shipping operations
• Maintain and organize legal and corporate documentation, including contracts, corporate structures and compliance records
• Collaborate closely with the company's legal team, internal stakeholders, and external partners in Cyprus and abroad

Requirements:

• Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered as an advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a legal, compliance, or corporate support role, with hands-on experience in KYC, due diligence, and compliance processes (mandatory)
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Professional, discreet, and a proactive approach
• Experience working with banks, corporate service providers, or international structures will be considered as an advantage.

An attractive remuneration package according to qualifications and experience will be offered to the successful candidate (including provident fund, 13th salary, 21 days annual leave etc).
