On behalf of our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company operating in the processed fruits, vegetables, and ready meals sector, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Quality Control Officer to join their team.
The company is committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality, while continuously improving its production and operational processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional who wishes to gain hands-on experience in Quality Control and build a long-term career within the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the daily Quality Control procedures across production operations
• Perform quality checks on raw materials, production processes, and finished products
• Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and internal quality standards
• Assist with the identification and reporting of quality issues or non-conformities
• Maintain accurate Quality Control documentation, records, and reports
• Work closely with the production team to ensure that quality standards are consistently followed
• Assist in corrective and preventive actions when required
• Support internal and external audits, certifications, and compliance procedures
• Monitor hygiene and food safety practices within the production environment
• Participate in the continuous improvement of Quality Control procedures and processes
Requirements
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, or another relevant field will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in Quality Control or within the food industry is desirable but not essential
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards will be considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a production environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Responsible, professional, and reliable approach to work
• Good knowledge of Greek and/or English

• Gross monthly salary range is €1,250 - €1,600.
