Senior Corporate Administrator
Job Description
The Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a passionate and self-motivated professional for the position of Senior Corporate Administrator to be based in their office in Nicosia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the international and local portfolio of clients and the day-to-day operations of clients, including liaising with clients daily, consulting and executing various client requests.
- Liaising directly with international and local clients and/or international and local other professionals and/or third parties.
- Responsible for communicating with banks, PSPs (Payment Service Providers), EMIs (Electronic Money Institutions) and maintaining relationships with the Group responsible in reviewing banking forms prepared from team members.
- Responsible for guiding team members in relation to bank applications.
- Responsible for structuring and preparing bank applications for regulated and non-regulated entities.
- Communicating with other departments of the Company and/ or affiliates and/or associates of the Company in relation to banking affairs of the Company and/or its clients.
- Providing banking support to clients either through personal meetings or telephone/conference calls.
- Supporting, providing guidance and assisting the members of the Department and/or other Departments of the Company as applicable.
- Attending various seminars and/or trainings.
- Reviewing client files (risk-based approach — High Risk per 1y, Medium Risk per 2y, Low Risk per 3y).
- Documenting files in the server as per the Company's internal guidelines.
- Responsible for users in relation to the Company’s CRM — Moebius (e.g. opening every client in the system).
- Responsible for collecting and reviewing KYC documents as per the Company's internal procedures on AML.
- Keeping banking requirements up to date and ensuring that due diligence deliverables are compliant with regulations.
- Documenting files in the Company’s server as per internal guidelines.
- Overall review of the tasks and communicating with the Group team for any pending documents relating to the onboarding procedure.
- Preparing weekly excel files and communicating with Management.
- Conducting compliance checks for prospective and existing clients, including the running the investigations relating to Lexis Nexis and communicating with the AML committee in case of negative findings (Lexis Nexis/ Google search).
- Responsible for conducting the economic profiling and risk assessment for each client.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- LLB Degree (LLM will be considered an advantage).
- 3 years’ experience as a Corporate Advisor/Lawyer.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate matters.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language/fluent in Business English.
- Computer literate.
- Experience with Regulated Firms (such as Investment Firms, Funds etc.) will be considered as an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and evolve in a fast paced environment.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professionalism, work ethic, self-motivated and team player.
- Positive can-do attitude, highly committed personality.
