The Role:
Finmatek, an innovated FinTech company and subsidiary of Fincap, is looking to hire a dedicated and motivated professional for the role of Onboarding Officer/Software Developer. Based in Nicosia or Limassol, this individual will join a team of developers focused on client onboarding and creating innovative financial technology solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new clients while contributing to the development of innovative software solutions within the financial technology space. This role requires a strong background in software development and knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EMIR and MiFIR.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, including communication with the clients to gather & verify necessary information.
Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure compliance with financial regulations such as EMIR and MiFIR.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of new clients into our systems.
Software Development:
Develop new software products tailored to evolving business needs.
Gather and analyze user requirements to design and implement innovative solutions.
Participate in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and maintenance, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement of both new and existing products.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all processes and software solutions comply with relevant financial regulations, including EMIR and MiFIR.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
1-5 years of experience in software development within a regulatory reporting environment is required.
Strong understanding of EMIR and MiFIR regulations is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or PHP.
Experience with SQL databases.
Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve goals.
Self-sufficient and able to work independently.
Strong critical thinking abilities.
Persistent and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal English in both business and technical contexts.
Experienced in managing multiple tasks under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities.
