Job Description

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all food is prepared with the highest quality standards and is served on time.

  • Assists in the kitchen for food elements preparation process.

  • Responsible for maintaining tidy & clean working areas.

  • Preparing workstations ready for operation as per standards

  • Helping with deliveries and restocking.

  • Preparing meat, fish and vegetables as per instructions by other chefs.

  • Follow kitchen Manual and SOPs and respect CERS procedures.

  • Ensuring HACCP and Health & Safety policies and procedures are implemented and maintained

  • Attend job specific trainings

  • Attend team briefing and communication meetings

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Fluent in Greek and English language
  • Basic knowledge of all food stations

  • Knowledge of various cooking methods

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good planning & organizational skills

  • Good knowledge of health & safety, hygiene and licensing regulations

Level of Experience

  • Previous experience in similar position 
  • Diploma in Culinary arts
  • Proven basic knowledge of food principles
  • Proven knowledge of Health & Safety standards.

  • 5 working days per week from Monday to Sunday 7:00 – 16:00 (6th day worked will be paid additional to the gross salary)
