About the role

HostingB2B is an ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified hosting provider serving B2B clients in regulated sectors including iGaming, fintech and SaaS. We are expanding our Technical Department and are looking for a senior engineer to work alongside our Technical Lead — taking ownership of complex infrastructure work, setting technical standards, and supporting junior team members.

What you'll do

• Linux administration — Own production Ubuntu/AlmaLinux environments: web and mail services, hardening, firewall configuration, performance tuning and live troubleshooting.
• Virtualization — Design, migrate and maintain VMware (vSphere/ESXi), Proxmox and Hyper-V environments, including storage, HA and backup/restore.
• Networking — Lead on TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and firewall design and diagnostics (pfSense/OpenVPN a strong plus).
• Incident response — Act as escalation point during outages: root-cause analysis, resolution, and clear communication to internal teams and clients.
• Standards & mentoring — Maintain runbooks and documentation in line with our ISMS, review changes, and mentor junior engineers as the department grows.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years hands-on production experience across Linux, virtualization and networking
• Proven track record as an escalation point in a hosting, MSP, datacentre or regulated B2B environment
• Methodical troubleshooter who works calmly and independently under pressure
• Comfortable documenting and improving process, not just firefighting
• Clear communicator in English, including with non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications (RHCE, VCP, CCNA/CCNP) are an advantage
