Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut and portion meat according to the hotel's standards and requirements
- Ensure proper handling, storage and preservation of all meat products
- Prepare meat for daily kitchen operations and food production.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of knives, cutting equipment and other tools
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to meet daily production requirements
- Follow all Hotel policies and HACCP procedure
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butched
- Good Knowledge of different types and cuts of meat
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Reliability, responsibility and a professional attitude
