Job Description

Epsilon Square is seeking a motivated and ambitious Civil Engineer to join our growing Infrastructure Design Team. We are a civil engineering consultancy specialising in road and drainage design, delivering high-quality projects for major clients across the UK and Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale developments while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

The Role:

As part of our infrastructure team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of road and drainage schemes for UK-based projects. You will be involved in:

• Road and drainage design
• Hydraulic analysis and modelling
• Development of 3D models to support project delivery
• Designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)
• Highways, earthworks, and level design
• Producing engineering solutions in line with UK standards and regulations

You will gain hands-on experience with established UK design practices while developing a strong understanding of sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
• Analytical mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Experience with Causeway Flow hydraulic modelling software
• Familiarity with UK design standards and regulations
• Previous industry experience (internships, placements, or relevant academic project work)
