Duties and responsibilities:
To assist in the preparation and cooking of foods for the Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Room Service Banqueting to the required standard in accordance with the daily requirements of the Hotel.
To assist with the preparation of the mis-en-place for the day’s requirements and to prepare in advance in conjunction with the Banqueting List.
To ensure a strict control of wastage and portions to achieve Gross Food Profitability.
To ensure that the section is kept clean and tidy at all times, strictly observing the hygiene regulations.
To use all machinery in a safe manner.
To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times.
