Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversees Company’s daily operations
• Designs strategy (short and long term) and set goals for growth and results
• Maintains budgets and optimizes expenses
• Defines the Company’s Policies and Procedures
• Ensures that employees are working productively and developing professionally
• Supervises the hiring and training of new employees
• Manages the employee evaluation process
• Evaluates and improves Company’s operations and financial performance
• Responsible for the preparation of reports requested by the senior management
• Ensures staff comply with Health and Safety regulations
• Provides solutions to problems (e.g., profit decline, employees' concerns, etc.)
• Reports to the Managing Director

 

Job Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering / Management and/or Financial and/or any other related field
• Master’s degree in any related field will be considered an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both verbal and written
• Excellent computer and digital literacy with the ability to follow and implement trends
• Proven experience as a General Manager
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing people and teams effectively
• Experience in planning and budgeting, and effective follow-up for adjustments
• Strong financial understanding and application
• Strong business acumen, analytic skills and reporting
• Excellent communication, projects management and problem-solving skills
