Position: HR Crewing Entertainment Officer

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration / Communication / HR and/or other relevant expertise
• Experience in personnel management - preferably in the tourism event sector or in the cruise industry
• Strong communication, people skills and understanding of service and customer orientation
• Organizational strength, decision-making skills
• Excellent Computer Skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management Tools)
• Excellent English knowledge (written & spoken)
• Enthusiasm as well as joy in learning new things
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of structures/operations of theaters /shows and understanding of creative work would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Vessel Management & Maritime Business would be an advantage
• Knowledge of required seafarers’ documentation would be an advantage
• Experience in working and interacting with performers, technicians and managers in the creative sector would be an advantage
• German language would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Entertainment sea chefs Office in Berlin for all administrative tasks
• Works in cooperation with Entertainment Recruiting, Casting and Travelling Managers – link between the Cyprus office and the Berlin office.
• First point of contact for Entertainment Crew and their agents in preparation of documents
• Keeps track of the entertainment employee pool, updating and verifying information
• Takes over the responsibility of contract offers and contract booking of all entertainment employees MS fleet
• Monitors rotation, communications contract changes, provides timely notification and handles administrative processing – including Documentation and Reporting
• Handles fee negotiation, reimbursement requests, visa requirements, questions about flights, payslips or document requirements
• Schedules and organizes feedback meetings and briefings
• Occasionally undertakes business trips to the Berlin office or to the ships
• Is aware, implements and complies to Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
