Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration / Communication / HR and/or other relevant expertise Experience in personnel management - preferably in the tourism event sector or in the cruise industry Strong communication, people skills and understanding of service and customer orientation Organizational strength, decision-making skills Excellent Computer Skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Management Tools) Excellent English knowledge (written & spoken) Enthusiasm as well as joy in learning new things Willingness to travel Knowledge of structures/operations of theaters /shows and understanding of creative work would be an advantage Knowledge of Vessel Management & Maritime Business would be an advantage Knowledge of required seafarers’ documentation would be an advantage Experience in working and interacting with performers, technicians and managers in the creative sector would be an advantage German language would be an advantage Responsibilities
Reports directly to the Entertainment sea chefs Office in Berlin for all administrative tasks Works in cooperation with Entertainment Recruiting, Casting and Travelling Managers – link between the Cyprus office and the Berlin office. First point of contact for Entertainment Crew and their agents in preparation of documents Keeps track of the entertainment employee pool, updating and verifying information Takes over the responsibility of contract offers and contract booking of all entertainment employees MS fleet Monitors rotation, communications contract changes, provides timely notification and handles administrative processing – including Documentation and Reporting Handles fee negotiation, reimbursement requests, visa requirements, questions about flights, payslips or document requirements Schedules and organizes feedback meetings and briefings Occasionally undertakes business trips to the Berlin office or to the ships Is aware, implements and complies to Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) Competencies
