Human Resources Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for an HR Manager who wants to leave their mark.
An experienced HR professional ready to take the next step, bringing strong HR knowledge, energy, ideas and the drive to make things happen. Someone who can strengthen how we attract, develop and manage our people, identify opportunities to do things better, and turn ideas into meaningful action.
You will take ownership of HR across three companies supporting employees across office, engineering and technical operations. This is a visible, hands-on role with real ownership of HR across the Group - from the everyday realities of people operations to employer branding, culture and the way we show up in the market.
What you’ll own
• Attracting the right people: from workforce planning and recruitment to career fairs, universities and talent pipelines
• Creating a strong employee journey: from offer and onboarding through probation, development, performance and progression
• Keeping the fundamentals strong: contracts, employee records, HR systems, attendance, leave, overtime, absences and HR documentation
• Driving performance: setting the rhythm for reviews, objectives, feedback, improvement plans and follow-up
• Being close to our people: understanding our teams and addressing employee relations, communication and workplace issues
• Developing our people through training, coaching, skills development and career opportunities
• Maintaining our reward and benefits offering competitive, meaningful and well communicated
• Turning employee feedback into action through engagement, recognition, wellbeing and team initiatives
• Supporting managers to become better people managers, while bringing consistency and accountability to the way teams are led
• Keeping HR practices strong: reviewing, improving and implementing policies, procedures and ways of working
• Handling the difficult parts of HR properly. Disciplinary matters, grievances, underperformance, resignations and terminations
• Using people data intelligently: turning HR metrics into insights, identifying patterns and acting before issues grow
• Building an employer brand people recognize.
The HR Manager we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who knows HR, understands operations and delivers.
You bring sound judgement, structure, confidence and follow-through. You are willing to challenge existing practices when needed, tailor HR approaches to different teams and situations, and bring your own personality, creativity and perspective to the employee experience.
You will ideally bring:
• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field
• Proven HR management/generalist experience across the full employee lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus employment legislation and HR practices
• Experience supporting and advising senior management
• Strong employee relations and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent Greek and English communication and presentation skills
• Strong HR systems, digital and reporting capabilities
• High levels of ownership, initiative, organisation and accountability
Experience within engineering, construction, contracting or another operational environment will be considered an advantage.
Why Join Us?
This is a role for someone who wants more than maintaining an HR function.
You will have direct access to decision-makers, exposure across three businesses and the freedom to bring forward ideas, challenge existing practices and influence how our people experience work.
If you want the freedom to shape HR, stay close to the people and the business, and see your ideas become part of how we work, we want to meet you.
We offer:
• Competitive remuneration package
• 13th Salary
• Annual performance bonus
• 22 days of Annual Leave
• Company mobile phone
• Ongoing professional development
• Additional employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives
