Internal Auditor
Job Responsibilities:
Document and review existing procedures and controls
Evaluate internal controls, processes and compliance with policies and regulations
Identify risks, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
Perform risk-based internal audit reviews across Group companies
Prepare audit working papers, findings and recommendation
Assist in the preparation of Internal Audit Reports
Follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations
Participate in ad-hoc reviews and investigations
Key competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, objectivity and confidentiality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong IT literacy and ability to work effectively with digital systems and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field
Partly or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Relevant experience in Internal/External Audit, Accounting, Risk or Compliance is an advantage
Understanding of internal controls, risk management and corporate governance
Advanced level of Microsoft Excel proficiency and MS Office
