Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for dairy processing and food manufacturing equipment Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with full parametric design methodology Support prototype builds, functional testing, and validation of new designs Perform mechanical engineering calculations (structural, thermal, flow, ) to support design decisions Generate and maintain BoMs, technical documentation, and revision-controlled drawings in accordance with company standards Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (electrical, automation, production, and installations) as well as suppliers and contractors Ensure projects meet timeline, cost, and quality objectives Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting design optimizations and efficiency gains
Requirements & Qualifications
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) as a Professional Engineer Proficiency in parametric 3D CAD and 2D drafting software Solid understanding of mechanical systems and design principles Strong calculation skills (stress analysis, tolerances, thermal and flow fundamentals) Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability with attention to detail Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal) Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Nice to have
1-4 years of engineering experience (internships, thesis projects, or industrial placements will be considered)
