About Foteini Energy
We're a Larnaca-based solar company with a team carrying 15+ years of combined PV experience. We design and install on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems for residential and commercial clients across Cyprus, with a fast-growing pipeline of commercial rooftop projects, including rental and hybrid PPA models with warehouse and factory owners.
The Role
As a Sales Engineer, you'll help homeowners and businesses across Cyprus understand how solar pays back, design the right system for their roof, and close the deal. This is a role with real ownership: you'll run your own pipeline, shape proposals, and see your deals go from first call to powered-on system. What You'll Do
- Design and develop photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial roofs.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, including system design, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data for system design and feasibility studies.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for permit applications and construction.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of PV system components and equipment.
- Support installation teams with technical expertise during the construction phase.
- Perform system performance evaluations and troubleshooting.
- Utilize computer simulation software to optimize system efficiency and energy production.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in solar PV technology.
- Provide technical support and training to installation teams and customers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Participate in project studies, including risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 1–5 years in sales engineering, B2B technical sales, or solar PV (recent graduates with relevant internships welcome)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Greek and English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Tech-savvy with a keen interest in renewable energy technologies.
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and transparency in previous roles.
