Sales & Business Development Executive
Job Description
We are a growing startup company entering the Cyprus market in the prepaid electricity sub-metering industry. Our business focuses on providing innovative metering and utility management solutions to residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. We work closely with property developers, body corporates, estate managers, landlords, and real estate professionals to improve utility management, cost recovery, and operational efficiency.
We are seeking a motivated and well-connected Sales & Business Development Executive to help establish and grow our presence in Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Cyprus property and real estate sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Property developers
- Real estate companies
- Property management firms
- Residential estates and complexes
- Commercial property owners
- Contractors and consultants
- Promote and present the company’s prepaid electricity sub-metering solutions to potential clients.
- Arrange and attend meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Generate leads and convert opportunities into signed contracts.
- Conduct market research and identify upcoming development projects.
- Develop strategic partnerships within the property and construction industries.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and business presentations.
- Assist management in developing the Cyprus market strategy.
- Provide regular sales pipeline and activity reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a local resident of Cyprus.
- Fluent in both English and Greek (Cypriot Greek preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Existing network and industry contacts within:
- Real estate
- Property development
- Property management
- Construction or related sectors
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport preferred.
Advantageous Experience
The following experience will be considered beneficial:
- Utility management or metering industry experience
- Electrical, energy, or smart technology background
- Experience dealing with body corporates or estate management companies
- Knowledge of residential and commercial development markets in Cyprus
